A family business for 340 years
The Grubhof is a farm in Altenmarkt in beautiful Salzburgerland, first mentioned in a document in 1681.
Nestled in the gentle Pongau mountains, our newly renovated farm is located in a sunny valley in Altenmarkt, just 1 km from the town center.
From here you can start your walks and hikes along the Enns or on one of the many signposted hiking trails from Altenmarkt, Zauchensee or Flachau.
In the middle of the Amadé sports world
The Grubhof is located in the unique, idyllic Pongau region in Salzburgerland, surrounded by natural beauty, directly in the Altenmarkt/Zauchensee ski area. Other ski Dorados such as Reiteralm to Schladming and Flachau to St. Johann/Pg. are just a stone’s throw away and can all be used with a ski pass.
The Sportwelt Amadé has a total of 350 km of pistes and 120 km of cross-country ski trails.
The region around the Grubhof also offers a wide range of activities for non-skiers: from short to long winter hikes to tobogganing or horse-drawn sleigh rides, there is nothing to leave you wanting.
